Waihi Beach is a small, friendly beachside community, located alongside one of New Zealand’s most popular surf beaches. It features a good selection of quality shops, cafes and restaurants.
In addition to popular water sports and activities such as fishing, surfing, swimming, kayaking diving and boating, there are a range of popular walking and cycling tracks nearby, as well as historical mining and railway sites and relics.
